Welcome to Bodhi, where we place the patient at the central focus of our care and address the full range of physical, social, emotional, mental and spiritual factors that affect their well-being.

Our goal

To help every patient achieve holistic well-being.

At Bodhi, we have moved away from the disease-centric approach. Instead, we follow a patient-centric approach, focusing on the core concepts of wholesome wellness with a sound mind, body, and soul.

Our mission

To empower our patients to live and stay well, by creating a respectful and healthy patient-centric partnership. We will get to the root cause of disease and build treatment plans for our patients to help them achieve soundness of mind, body and soul.

Our process

At Bodhi, we begin with a comprehensive consultation, which gives us the foundational understanding of your healthcare needs. We listen, carefully and eagerly, to learn how our patients feel. During this 60-90 minute long conversation, we build an understanding of you, your lifestyle and your unique needs, across the spectrum of physical, mental and emotional well-being.

We will then recommend custom lab tests to identify the root cause of diseases, as needed. We use a scientific and evidence-based blend of conventional and complementary treatment practices to build an integrative health management plan that’s tailored for each patient’s unique needs. We use custom lab testing to help identify the root cause.

Our methods

Dr. Lalitha Aiyer has a passion for optimal and holistic health and well-being, which she brings together with the best of evidence-based healthcare practices such as:

Ayurveda — meaning the knowledge of life and longevity — is an ancient medical practice from the Indian subcontinent that originated over 5000 years ago. Instead of looking at the body as a carrier of disease, Ayurveda approaches the human body as part of nature, and treats disease by bringing physical, mental, emotional and spiritual balance.

Reiki, a decades-old alternative medical practice from Japan, delivers healing of
physical, emotional and mental concerns, channeling the patient’s own life force energy.

Functional Medicine

Functional Medicine is a philosophy of medicine that treats the body as a whole unit, instead breaking them up into organs/specialities. It uses a systems-oriented approach to treat the root-cause of disease.

Herbal Medicine

Herbal medicine leverages the medicinal properties of natural herbs to complement or supplement conventional medical practices.

Homeopathy is a medical practice from 18th century Germany, which follows the belief that a substance that causes disease can also be used to cure it. The foundation of homeopathy lies on the innate ability for self- healing. Homeopathy works within the boundaries of this innate healing of an individual. Homeopathy is safe if prescribed the right medicine. Dr. Aiyer is a certified homeopath and will offer a individualized treatment plan.
